“Just like every bride, I had wanted to look good on my wedding day - better than the usual makeup-free me but still…’me’.  However, unlike most other brides (and Ervan can attest to this) I was completely at a loss on what colours/hairstyle etc I wanted.  And so I let Ervan have free reign (within reason!) and was so pleased with the results!  I asked for a soft feminine look for my hair and he immediately knew what to do - without exaggeration, most of our female guests told me during and after the wedding that they had loved the hairstyle he did.  As for makeup, the same ladies also gushed over how natural and elegant it was.  I am so glad to be able to look at my photos now and know I still looked like me on my wedding day… just better!  The first thing my husband said to me in the church was “you look so beautiful” and not “who are you?!”.  I had also not seen my mother look so incredibly beautiful in a long time - he brought out her lovely features so skillfully.

As for my bridesmaids, I simply wanted a sweet, girlish look to match their Jackie O style dresses and asked for high pony tails with a soft, bouncy curl.  Ervan took it one step further and, taking inspiration from Gossip Girl, hand made gorgeous headbands with sweet preppy bows on the side using scraps of material from the girls’ dresses.  When I emailed the girls pictures of the headbands before the wedding, they collectively squealed (via email) in delight!  So THANK YOU Ervan for making all of us feel beautiful that day - it made us carefree, confident in front of the camera and just allowed us to completely enjoy the day for what it was.  :)  Much love, Lynn”
